OFFICERS ARE PUT ON A PRISON BREAK ; Suspended on full pay for 2 years
TWO prison officers at the centre of a "broken bones" scandal have been suspended on full pay for more than two years even though police ruled there was no case for them to answer. As an internal Prison Service review has been taking place the workers have continued to be suspended at a potential cost of pounds 140,000 to the taxpayer, even though the men claim to be desperate to return.
