Boy, 12, Dies in Egypt Crash ; Sister Fighting for Life

A NORTH schoolboy has been killed and his sister left fighting for life following a car crash on a family holiday in Egypt. Twelve-year-old Daniel Bainbridge died after the accident, which happened on Tuesday, while his 10-year-old sister Courtney is said to be in a critical condition in hospital.

TWO North soldiers killed by an explosion in Afghanistan died trying to save a colleague injured in an earlier blast, the Ministry of Defence has revealed.
