KIMBLESWORTH retained the Readers Durham County League championship and, in contrast to their 2008 success, had the title more or less sewn up with a month of the season to go. In 2008 a mere three points separated the top three teams, but while Esh Winning were yet again the champions nearest challengers this time they finished 41 points adrift and well off the pace.
