A NORTH police constable has resigned after he was arrested for assaulting a fellow officer. PC Craig McAllister, from Whitehaven, west Cumbria, was arrested after a bust up on a CID staff night out.
The fracas occurred at the Vine Hotel in Whitehaven just before midnight on Thursday, December 16, as members of the force celebrated the run up to Christmas.
