A TEAM of colleagues have raised more than pounds 2,500 for a breast cancer charity after stepping out in style in The SunWalk. The seven ladies, who worked for Quilted Velvet toilet tissue, wore decorated bras when they took part in the Newcastle event alongside 1,500 other power walkers, to raise cash for Walk the Walk.
Quilted Velvet toilet tissue was the local sponsor of the July event, held in Leazes Park. The company's promotions assistant Bex Clarke, aged 21, from Bolam near Darlington, County Durham, donated more than a day's wages because it was a cause close to her heart.See the full content of this document
